STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 4TH APRIL

All the latest news for the Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side League direct from Stourbridge Rugby Club.

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

The game of the night in the Premier League this week goes to the game between  'Any Chance' and 'Lenton Orient'. In a cracking end-to-end battle that saw 3 goals which nobody could predict it was 'Lenton Orient' who ran out 2-1 winners. Top of the league with no points dropped, can they continue this form?

Some brilliant games throughout Division One and lots of goals but it was the game between 'Baggies Babes' and 'Lenton Orient B' who played out the game of the night. In a high-tempo game and with 6 goals scored 'Lenton Orient B' were able to run out winners in the end and climb the table as a result. They will be looking to build on this as the season progresses and it will be interesting to see if they can keep the run going.

The Division Two game of the night was the game between 'Balotelli-Tubbies' and 'Athletic Dildao'. In a 3-goal thriller, it was 'Balotelli-Tubbies' who came out on top 2-1 to find themselves climbing the league and chasing the top two spaces. Next up is 'Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole' and with them both settling into the season ahead it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Division Three game of the night was the 1-1 draw between ‘FC Resonance’ and ‘Lads On Toure’. Two evenly matched teams that worked hard for the win but could not be split in the end. Both teams will be looking for promotion this season and with how even all the teams look it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Team of the week for this week has to be Division Two's top team 'Stourbridge Olympic'. After another win they are the only side not drop points this season in Division Two, doing it in style with an emphatic victory on the night!
