STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 4TH JANUARY 22

A fantastic night of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League with all teams in attendance as expected. 

Unfortunately we did have one disciplinary issue on the night as Jake Stubbs from 'Haven't Got A Kalou' was sent from the field of play for some aggressive behaviour towards his opponents on the night, he has been fined £20 for his action on the night and banned from playing for four weeks.  It is important that all teams remain within the rules of the league and it is important to remember that any disciplinary issues will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly. 

In more positive news, game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Stourbridge CC' and 'Is It Half Time Yet?'. Two teams that know each other well now and is always a tight affair but it was 'Is It Half Time Yet?' who came out on top this time 2-1. Two points off the top two there are some crutch games coming in the weeks to come, can they get back into the top two?

The game of the night in Division One was between 'Workplace Products FC' and 'Milano Mob City'. A very end to end low scoring game that saw 'Workplace Products FC' come away with a 2-0 win and continue the winning streak they are on. With four games to go they will be looking to climb as high in the table as possible, where will they be as we near another new season.

Team of the week for this week is 'Innocent Until Proven Glyfi' as they put in a great performance on the night and look to finish the season strong. They go into a game against in form 'Workplace Products FC', who will come out on top?
