A fantastic night of very entertaining games of 6-a-side football in the Stourbridge Tuesday League.
Unfortunately we did have not one nut two non attendances as 'Horses For Courses' and 'Bespoke Ballers' were both not present for there fixture. Both will be contacted in the coming days to confirm there return this week. It is paramount all teams are present for there fixtures each and every week however if you are struggling to get a team out it is important you contact the Area Manager in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each and every week.
Game of the night in the Premier Division this week goes to the game between 'Troey's Rentboys' and 'Oaks Ay We'. A fantastically tense game that was decided by 1 goal as 'Oaks Ay We' came out as 2-1 winners in there first win after there move to the Tuesday League. Six games left and confidence going can they pull themselves out of the relegation zone?
Game of the night in Division One was the game between 'The Six Offenders' and 'FC Resonance'. A top quality game that showed the quality on offer in Division One and saw a wonderful win for 'The Six Offenders' 2-1. Congratulations on a fine performance from both teams and 'The Six Offenders' are now three points of top spot.
Division Two game of the night was between 'Lenton Orient' and 'Quatford Windows'. A close affair saw 'Lenton Orient' run out 1-0 winners as there opponents put up a good fight. One game off the halfway stage in this division its all to play for but undefeated 'Hold That FC' hold the top spot.
Team of the week for this week are 'Haven't Got A Kalou'. Having only dropped three points all season they are looking good for a top two spot in Division One, only off top because another team has only dropped two points. With six to go it will be interesting to see which teams will be going up and down this season.
