Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side Football League Kicks Off With Exciting First Week of Action

The highly anticipated Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side Football League kicked off its season with a thrilling first week of matches across the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.

In the Premier League, The Galacticos secured an impressive 5-2 victory over Hold That FC, they'll be looking to retain the league title this season. Swanky FC couldn't keep up with the dominant Lenton Orient, who secured a convincing 7-2 win.  Unbelievable Tekkers fought valiantly but ultimately fell short against Murder On Zidanes Floor, who emerged victorious with a 4-1 scoreline.

Balotelli-Tubbies made a strong statement in Division 1 by defeating Yatesys VI with a resounding scoreline. Six Offenders FC showcased their prowess on the field with a stunning victory over Fenny Football Club, while Two Goals One Cup secured a decisive win over Gangsters Allardyce.

Division 2 saw BdEx Boys start the season on a high note, defeating Growler Out FC with a 2-0 scoreline. HAS Bins narrowly edged out FC Resonance 2-1, and Gary Neville Is A Legend secured a 3-1 victory over Goobz FC.

In Division 3, Saka Potatoes showcased their skills by defeating Any Holes A Goal with a 4-1 scoreline. Lads On Toure secured a commanding 6-2 win against Genoa-cide, while Innocent Till Proven Gylfi fell short against I Only Put Matip In, who emerged victorious with a 4-2 scoreline. 

Team of the week this week goes to BdEx Boys who put on a convincing display against Growler Out FC, keeping a clean sheet and scoring two themselves, well played gents, a strong start to the new season.
