The Stourbridge Tuesday 6 a side football league kicked off its new season last night with a series of thrilling matches across all divisions.

Unfortunately we did have one non-attendance as 'Saka Potatoes were not present for there fixture. We will be in contact with the team to confirm there return this week. It is paramount all teams are present for there fixture each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of time.

In more positive news, in the Premier League division, The Galacticos put their best foot forward against BdEx Boys, with the game ending in a closely contested 4-3 win for the BdEx Boys. Parallelly, The Boy In Striped Wanyamas beat William Flakespeare, marking a stunning victory with some clinical finishing.

Turning to Division 1, the night saw a gripping clash between Yatesys VI and Goobz FC, ending in a 4-3 triumph for Goobz FC. Meanwhile, Growler Out FC dominated the pitch against Murder On Zidanes Floor with a 4-0 victory.

The competition heated up in Division 2 as Mals Tav Athletic outclassed Fake Madrid with a 5-1 win. An equally decisive 3-0 victory was seen from Salt N Vinegar against Gangsters Allardyce. In a very tight game to start the night HAS Bin Lions and Gary Neville is a Legend played out a very entertaining 1-1 draw.

Over in Division 3, a hard-fought battle saw Any Holes A Goal outplay Lads On Toure with a final score of 2-0.
