Unfortunately, we did have one non-attendance in the league with Saka Potatoes. Due to this happening multiple times they have now been removed from the league. Please ensure to let your area manager know in advance if your team is unavailable to ensure the league runs as smoothly as possible. 

Stourbridge Tuesday Premier League saw fierce competition this week, with defending champions Swanky FC continuing their unbeaten run with a dominating 4-0 victory over William Flakespeare. In the same division, The Galacticos, triumphed over The Boy In Striped Wanyamas in a thrilling 5-2 victory. 

In Division 1, Goobz FC outperformed Innocent Till Proven Gylfi, ending the match 5-2 after a thrilling display of football from both sides. Murder On Zidanes Floor had a convincing win against Yatesys VI with a 5-2 scoreline as their attack proved dominant. 

Moving onto Division 2, both matches between Fake Madrid and Gary Neville Is A Legend, and Gangsters Allardyce and HAS Bin Lions ended in a 1-1 draw with deadlocks showing how close the competition is in the division! Mals Tav Athletic showed their dominance with a 3-0 victory over Salt N Vinegar as a perfect team performance proved too much for their opponents. 

Finally, in Division 3, Fenny Football Club secured a narrow 4-3 win against Any Holes A Goal with both teams fighting till the final whistle. While Here 4 A Pint After FC comfortably defeated Lads On Toure with a 3-0 scoreline. 

The league, now in its second week provided some sensational individual and team performances. Goobz FC are the team of the week thanks to their resilient performance over their opponents. We look forward to seeing if they can continue this form into next week as they take on 4th placed Murder On Zidanes Floor
