Play in the Stourbridge Tuesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side Football League witnessed some thrilling action in its fourth week, with teams across all divisions demonstrating the depth of local football talent. Unfortunately, however, we did have several events which are not tolerated at the league including unacceptable behaviour from multiple players on the night. This included abuse towards the referee from Alfie Jacques of Growler Out FC resulting in a £10 fine and permanent ban. Secondly an incident from James of Yatesys VI where the ball was thrown towards the referee followed by verbal abuse which has resulted in a 2-week ban and £20 fine. We would like to reinforce that any behaviour of this nature will not be tolerated at any of the leagues.

In more positive news in the Premier League division, The Galacticos made a record performance, cruising to an emphatic victory over Bunting Mental. The match between BdEx Boys and William Flakespeare ended in a 1-1 stalemate, while The Boy In Striped Wanyamas defeated Swanky FC 6-2.

Division 1 saw Growler Out FC trounce Goobz FC 6-0 with no hope of a comeback for Goobz FC, Innocent Till Proven Gylfi edged out Yatesys VI 2-1 in a composed team performance, while Murder On Zidanes Floor outscored Stourbridge Olympic 4-3.

In Division 2, Salt N Vinegar triumphed 5-2 over HAS Bin Lions in a spectacular attacking display. Other matches saw Fake Madrid and Gangsters Allardyce draw 2-2, while Mals Tav Athletic clinched a narrow 3-2 victory against Gary Neville Is A Legend.

In Division 3, Any Holes A Goal lost 3-1 to Six Offenders, Lads On Toure fell 2-0 to Fenny Football Club, and Here 4 A Pint After FC secured a dominant 7-1 victory over Drinking Team With A Football Problem.

The team of the week is given to Here 4 A Pint After FC due to their rampant 7-1 victory over their opponents with an exemplary team performance from all players involved. 

With such thrilling results, the Stourbridge Tuesday 6 a side Football League promises an exciting season ahead.
