Play in the Stourbridge Tuesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the world of local football, the fifth week of the Stourbridge Tuesday 6 a side Football league saw exciting matches and memorable performances as teams vied for dominance in their respective divisions. Unfortunately, however, we did have an incident on the evening with Josh from William Flakespeare as persistent fouling and a sin-bin led to further descent including abuse towards the referee and disrupting match play after walking onto the pitch to stop a clear goal from the bench. As a result of this Josh had been banned for 2 weeks and fined £20 but due to the team's overall behaviour they have been removed from the league.

In more positive news in Premier League action, it was a packed night of thrilling football. BdEx Boys triumphed over Swanky FC with a final score of 2-1. Meanwhile, The Boy In Striped Wanyamas put in a sterling performance, beating Bunting Mental 3-1. The Galacticos dominated their game against William Flakespeare, netting six goals in their 6-1 victory.

Division 1 saw some fierce rivalry, with Goobz FC putting on an impressive display against Stourbridge Olympic, winning 7-1. Murder On Zidanes Floor dominated Innocent Till Proven Gylfi with a 6-1 victory, while Growler Out FC managed a 4-1 win over Yatesys VI.

In Division 2, Fake Madrid outperformed HAS Bin Lions with a 6-2 victory, with their attack ensuring they had their shooting boots on! Gary Neville Is A Legend found themselves bested by Salt N Vinegar, with Salt N Vinegar winning 5-0. Mals Tav Athletic managed to scrape a 1-0 win against Gangsters Allardyce.

The week's action concluded with Division 3's matches. Any Holes A Goal triumphed over Drinking Team With A Football Problem 5-1. Here 4 A Pint After FC secured a 4-0 victory over Fenny Football Club, while Six Offenders dominated their game against Lads On Toure, winning 6-0, with Ollie Hale scoring three goals.

The team of the week is Stourbridge Olympic thanks to their exceptional 7-1 victory with a near-perfect performance only to be improved by a clean sheet!  Next week they face Innocent Till Proven Gylfi which will be an exciting matchup!
