Play in the Stourbridge Tuesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Stourbridge Tuesday Football League came alight this week with thrill-packed fixtures across the divisions. In week two of the season, the scoreboard registered multiple outstanding performances as teams wrestled for division supremacy.

In the Premier League division, The Galacticos took the lead with a 2-1 triumph over The Boy In Striped Wanyamas, while Growler Out FC edged Swanky FC 3-2 in a nail-biting encounter. Yatesys VI also managed a convincing victory over Goobz FC with a 3-1 victory despite their opponent's best efforts. 

The Division 1 games saw Innocent Till Proven Gylfi and Mals Tav Athletic battle to a 1-1 draw, while Murder On Zidanes Floor beat Real Ale Madrid 5-2. Murder On Zidanes Floor will be looking to chase down Salt N Vinegar for the top spot as the season progresses as they face Innocent Till Proven Gylfi next week.

In Division 2, Gangsters Allardyce fell to Six Offenders in a 0-2 defeat, while Fake Madrid had to concede defeat to Fenny Football Club by 1-3. Newly promoted Six Offenders will look for back to back promotions after a promising start in Division 2.

Over in Division 3, Lads On Toure suffered a narrow 2-3 loss to Gary Neville Is A Legend whilst Any Holes A Goal were outplayed by You Spin Me Joel Round at 1-4. Choir Boys FC and Drinking Team With A Football Problem ended their match in a 2-2 draw. 

The team of the week is Growler Out FC who showed sheer determination and grit to overcome their opposition Swanky FC. Next week they face promotion rivals Yatesys VI in what looks to be an exciting matchup.
