TWO GAMES INTO NEW SEASON IN STOURBRIDGE!

Great to see some wonderful games played during the Stourbridge Tuesday League this week with all teams in attendance and accounted for.

Any of the games in the Premier Division could have been game of the night but the game that just pipped it was the game between 'Troey's Rentboys' and 'Stourbridge CC'. 'Troey's Rentboys' were 3-0 up at half time and playing really before a superb comeback in the second half saw 'Stourbridge snatch a late 3-3 draw to keep both teams unbeaten to start the season. With only one team able to come out of the first two games with two wins out of two so far it will be interesting to see how the season plays out.

The Division 1 game of the night goes to the game between 'S Side Bby' and 'Goals Aloud'. A goal fest where both teams had there shooting boots on and played as well as they can to go all out for the win but it was 'S Side Bby' who were able to come out on top 6-5 winners. Again only one team undefeated so far in Division One so its all to play for in both divisions and sets up for a very interesting season ahead.

'Is It Half Time Yet?' are our team of the week as they are one of two teams that have won both of there league games to start the season. With their runners up spot for a number of  seasons now they will be looking to push on and see if they can mount another title push. Next up is 'Troey's Rentboys', will they be able to keep their undefeated start going?
