Not a Kalou are setting the pace

Stroud's best 6-a-side league had another great evening in the sun, with entertainment, goals and a gathering force.

The night started with a close fought victory for early-season pacesetters Not a Kalou over back-to-back champions, Washing Machine.  The 3-2 scoreline reflected a great top of the table clash that sees Washing Machine drop from top spot to third.

They were overtaken by 2 Girls 1 Schlupp who got a big win over the much fancied Dano FC who haven't yet followed up this season some of their good performances last.  The 10-1 scoreline showed Schlupp's dominance.

Colonel Getafe and Lads on Toure played out a 7 goals classic, with the new guys getting their first win with a 4-3 victory.

The night finished with Pique Blinders securing a 5-0 win and giving their season a kick start.

With the weather set fair during the summer, there is no better place to play 6-a-side football than with Leisure Leagues.  Who wants to be stuck playing indoors?
