Following the return of the "Beast from the East", it was all systems go at Stratford Park Leisure Centre for Stroud's best 6-a-side football league following a day of sunshine.

Christy Palace returned, after not being able to make the previous week, with a comprehensive 8-0 win over Not a Kalou. Pique Blinders edged a 7 goal thriller against debutantes, Heavy Gang.

The final competitive game of the night saw 3rd vs 1st, as 2 Girls 1 Schlupp edged a 1-0 win over the champions, Washing Machine who lost their 100% record to boot.

This now makes the league more thrilling than ever as we enter the final game before the Easter break.
