Sunday 12th April - Stroud Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Stroud Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions.

The Premier League saw some nail-biting scenes unfold. Chiellini Con Carne asserted dominance over Sink Males FC, bagging a resounding 4-1 victory. Jacob Lockwood of Chiellini Con Carne was in fine form, finding the back of the net twice to become the top scorer in the Premier League this week. The excitement didn't stop there, as Randwick Warriors narrowly faced a 4-3 defeat in a thriller against Sand FC, rounding off a captivating week in the Premier League.

Over in Division 1, the competition was just as fierce. The Smurfs had a tough night, falling to The Disciples with a heavy 8-1 scoreline. James of The Disciples was the standout player, netting an impressive four goals to become the week's top scorer in Division 1. Meanwhile, PTFC took down SAS FC with a steady 3-1 win. Red Men FC also made their presence felt, trouncing Maradona Kebab 7-1 in a commanding performance.
