Sunday 14th December - Stroud Round-Up

In an exhilarating end to the Stroud Sunday 6-a-side Football League, the final week of the season, week 10, saw Randwick Warriors steal the Premier League title while Sink Males FC emerged triumphant in Division 1.

In the Premier League division, Randwick Warriors managed to consolidate their position at the top with an impressive 16 points from 6 wins, despite their hard-fought 2-2 draw against The Old Badgers. Chiellini Con Carne had a decisive 3-1 victory over Sand FC, and Red Men FC showed their dominance with a 4-0 rout against SAS FC. The Premier League's top scorer for the week was Lee Davis, who netted two critical goals for The Old Badgers, further cementing his position as one of the league's star players.

Switching focus to Division 1, Sink Males FC proved their mettle by securing the division title with a total of 15 points and a commendable tally of 7 wins. They wrapped up their campaign with a solid 2-0 win against Hanging By A Fred. Elsewhere in the division, a resolute performance from The Disciples saw them overcome Blackandwhitearmy 3-1, while Maradona Kebab and House Of Dragsiun drew even at 1-1. The top scorer in this division was Ned from Sink Males FC, adding one more goal to his season's haul.

The new season will kick off on Sunday 21st December, with a one week break on Sunday 28th December over the Christmas period.  We will be in touch with all team captains accordingly over the coming days to confirm all details of the upcoming schedule.
