Sunday 6th July - Stroud Round-Up

Game week 1 got off to a fine start in the Stroud Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their scheduled games.

The Old Badgers locked horns with SAS LTD, in a nail-biting match that ended 2-1 in favor of the former. Displaying an impressive performance, The Old Badgers demonstrated why they're ones to watch this season. Meanwhile, SAS LTD fought valiantly and will undoubtedly be seeking to overturn this early setback in the coming weeks.

On the other hand, Sink Males FC dominated their match against House Of Dragsiun, walking away with a 4-0 victory. Their aggressive strategy, coupled with excellent teamwork, laid the groundwork for a clean sheet that set a high bar for the rest of the season.

Elsewhere, Chiellini Con Carne faced off against Randwick Warriors in what turned out to be the highest scoring match of the week. Despite Chiellini Con Carne netting 4 goals, it was Randwick Warriors who triumphed with an impressive tally of 7 goals. This thrilling match saw James Deane of Randwick Warriors emerging as the top scorer of the Premier League division, netting 3 of the 7 goals for his team.

Finally, Sand FC clinched a 3-1 victory against Red Men FC, marking a promising start to their season. Each game added a new layer of suspense to the Premier League division, hinting at a thrilling season ahead.
