Sunday 8th March - Stroud Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Stroud Sunday 6 a side league this week as the new season got underway with some excellent matches played across both divisions.

In the Premier League division, The Old Badgers opened the proceedings against Blackandwhitearmy. It was a tightly contested affair as Blackandwhitearmy edged past The Old Badgers with a 2-1 victory. Sink Males FC showcased an impressive performance, registering a dominant 6-0 victory against Chiellini Con Carne. The most thrilling match of the evening was between Sand FC and Randwick Warriors, where the latter came out on top with a grand score of 6-2. The highlight of the Premier League was the performance of Randwick Warriors' striker, Danny, who emerged as the top scorer with a total of 5 goals.

Switching gears to Division 1, the league witnessed a stunning victory of The Disciples over Goal Diggers with a scoreline of 7-1. The match between SAS FC and House Of Dragsiun ended in a 1-1 draw while Red Men Fc defeated Maradona Kebab by 3-1. The star player in this division was Archie from The Disciples, who emerged as the top scorer by netting 5 goals.
