Swindon Thursday Football League - Week 9 Results

In what was a thrilling ninth week of the Swindon Thursday Football League, several teams across Division 1, 2, and 3 turned in remarkable performances.

In Division 1, Ridge FC gave a masterclass in goal scoring, hammering DL Wanderers 8-0, cementing their place as clear favorites in the league. Noffin FC and Old Town Langers ended their clash in a hard-fought 3-3 draw, while Six Offenders edged past Plough FC in a tightly contested 2-1 victory. Sons Of Pitches beat Lightwork 4-2, while Wichelstowe Wanderers FC defeated Downey Daves 4-1.

Meanwhile, Division 2 had its share of exciting matches. Puyol Pants Down dominated 1980's Legends with a 5-1 win, while Swindon Downs triumphed over Jamaican Jet-ski Police 3-0. Swindon Park Rangers emerged victorious in a close 3-2 encounter with Brexit Bosh. Barely Athletic blanked Unclarted 2-0, and Wiggins FC outscored FTS FC in an 8-3 goal frenzy.

Over in Division 3, Cerney United blanked Haynes Beans 2-0, and FC Mordedon handed Real FC a heavy 8-0 loss. RUES KRISPIES and Leave My Arcelona were both victorious with 2-0 victories over Athletico Cerney and Inter Milun CF, respectively. The highest scoring game saw Swindon Toon losing to Working Mens D in a 12-goal thriller, with the latter winning 7-5.
