Swindon Thursday Football League: Week 15 Round-Up

In the fifteenth week of the Swindon Thursday Football League, we witnessed some exciting matches across three divisions.

Starting with Division 1, the Drunken Masters displayed their dominance by trouncing Beercelona 5-1, making it a memorable night for their team. Bluey United also put on an impressive performance, managing to shut out Super Size And Super Skinny in a 2-0 victory. However, the highlight of the night was the thrilling match between Prop Serv Fc and Shield And Shaggers, with the latter securing a narrow 3-2 win.

Moving on to Division 2, Real Sosobad left an unforgettable impression, decimating DL Wanderers 8-0, the highest scoreline of the week. PINEHURST FC and Oasis Fc battled it out in a close encounter, with PINEHURST edging out a 3-2 victory. However, the drama didn't end there as Who Ate All Depays annihilated Dyslexia United 9-0, while Swindon Mags secured a 1-0 win over Swindon Downs.

Lastly, in Division 3, Blanes FC stood out with an emphatic 7-1 victory over Egoala CF. FC De Workman managed to pull off a tight 4-3 win against Lads On Toure, while Wichelstowe Wanderers FC overpowered Nebular FC 3-0. Savoy Athletic were undoubtedly the stars of the division, thrashing Swindon Elite Force 15-3. The final match of the night saw Hardly Athletic beat Roads United 5-1.

The top scorers for the divisions were Drunken Masters, Real Sosobad, and Savoy Athletic for Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 respectively. Their excellent performances will surely boost their confidence moving forward into the next week.
