Weekly News from Monday 9th October

It was a great night of football overall on Monday, with some fantastic matches played. There were a couple of sour notes to report however. 

We were extremely disappointed that no one from Oh Danny's Boys contacted Head Office to inform us they were unable to attend their game, and we will be in contact with the team captain to confirm they will be back as normal next week.

We have also made the decision to remove Pooventus from the league. After a series of wild tackles in their game, they will be banned from the league with immediate effect.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate, and any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.

We would also like to remind all teams that as of next week, we can no longer accept the old style £1 coins, so please make sure you have the new ones to hand!
