Tamworth Sunday 6 a side league update 10th September

Another good week in the Tamworth Sunday 6-a-side league held at Tamworth Football Club despite Cupid Stunts failing to attend. They have now been removed from the league and their place has been taken by a new team called Dream Team. We would like to welcome them and wish them luck for the remainder of the season.

In the Premier division, Just Good Vibes stood out with an impressive 4-0 victory against Chubalona Fc. School Boy Error couldn’t match up to Parish Saint German, who dominated the game with a 7-1 win. The league’s top scorer was an anonymous player from Parish Saint German, who contributed significantly to the team's victory.

In Division 1, the match between Balloteli-tubbies and Wrinkle Runners saw the latter emerge victorious with a 2-0 win. Benteke Fried Chicken lost to Ashby Road in a closely contested match, ending 2-1. Borussia Teeth, despite their best efforts, couldn't withstand the prowess of Old Boys Star, who walked away with a 4-1 victory. The top scorer from Old Boys Star showcased a stellar performance, taking his team to triumph.

The Division 2 matches were equally thrilling. County Links was defeated by Who Ate All Depays, ending at 3-0. Despite a hard-fought game, Don't Touch My Tapas lost to Ready Brexit, who emerged victorious with a 6-2 win. The match between Woodland Road FC and Team Ryan was a nail-biter, with Team Ryan managing a narrow victory at 2-1.

The second week of the Tamworth Sunday 6-a-side Football League presented a riveting display of talent and competition. As the league progresses, we eagerly anticipate the next set of matches. With such a high level of skill and competitiveness on display, the rest of the season promises to be intensely thrilling.
