DON'S ULTRAS CHAMPIONS OF TEIGNMOUTH

We wrapped up our excellent season of 6 a side in Teignmouth last night with Don's Ultras being crowned as Premier League Champions. It's been a brilliant season for the team who end on 18 points out of 20 and a 4 point gap away from Dawlish Utd in 2nd. It was their nearest rivals that Don's overcame on the final night of the season with goal machine Ben Beeson banging in all 7 to take a share of the golden boot trophy for the season. Kieran Martin hit back with a couple for Dawlish but it's Don's who take the points 7 - 3 and seal the title. Newton Wanderers finish 3rd on 13 points having taken a 5 - 0 win from their final game and Paris Ganja Man retain their place in the prem with a 3 - 0 win over Future Stars who will join Me and The Boys in dropping to Division One for the new campaign.

Their places in the top flight will go to Scattered FC and new Division One champions Dorsetshire Sauce who wrapped up the title with a 2 - 0 win over All Cider No Beer on the final night. Only goal difference separated the top two with a clear gap to Old Dogs so hopefully they with both fare well in the premier league and we wish them luck with that. Two of our newer sides finished at the bottom of the division but neither had many weeks to recover from the palces they took over and im sure both will be competitive next season.

The golden boot trophy is shared in the prem between Toto Whittle of Dawlish and Ben Beeson from Don's, both on 29 goals while Zak Caderew picks up the Division One award for Dorsetshire Sauce. The trophies will all be ordered and presented as soon as they arrive.

Thank you to everyone that has played this season, especially to the captains who have managed to get sides out throughout a tough hot summer. Now we are into September, players should be more readily available for games. Also a huge thanks to Steve for running match nights and to Sam, Dan and Wayne for reffing each week. We have a brilliant team at this league so lets keep up the good work as we head into the new season.

Fixtures will be out very soon guys.
