TEWKESBURY MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 9TH NOVEMBER 2021

All the latest news from the Tewkesbury Monday 6 a side league direct from the Tewkesbury School sports Centre.

It was a great first night for the league under the Leisure Leagues Banner with all teams in attendance as expected and playing some great football.

We had some very close games across all three divisions and none was as close as the 3 all draw between Zanetti FC and Dads Army in their division one clash. 

At the other end of the scale we did have some big wins for both The Prawns and 108.9 who both ran out 7-0 winners in their opening fixtures of the season.

The only problem we had last night was Sons Of Pitches who were supposed to be playing Were having a laugh in a points match. Unfortunately this match didn't go ahead as Were having a laugh failed to stay on after their league match. I would like to inform all teams if you do agree to stay on for a points match you do need to contact us on 0333 123 2340 before hand if this changes.

At all our leagues players are also playing to win the golden boot and become the most value player of the season with a prize draw taking place for both at the end of the season. Simply inform the match officials of any goal scorers after your match to be recorded on the website and the referees will chose their MVP's each week.
