In a thrilling opening week of the Tewkesbury Monday 6-a-side football league, teams across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions showcased their skills in an array of high-octane matches. The kickoff week of the season did not disappoint, as it was packed with spectacular goals, stunning saves, and nail-biting finishes.

In the Premier League, The Royal Hop Goals set the tone with an impressive 4-0 victory against Ji Sung Park The Bus. The Prawns displayed an incredible performance, defeating Nothing But Vibes 5-1. The highlight of the night, however, was the goal fest between The Crows and Slot It In My Pukki, with the latter emerging victorious with a sensational 7-3 win.

Division 1, too, was bustling with adrenaline. In a neck-and-neck match, Tottenham Hotbox narrowly lost to Best Takeaway FC 4-5. Hangover 96 triumphed over OVERBURY REDKITES FC with a scoreline of 9-5, while Inter Twyning outclassed Multiple Scorgasms 7-4.

As the league has just begun, it’s too early to pick favorites, but Slot It In My Pukki, The Prawns, and Hangover 96 have made a strong start in their respective divisions.
