MANSFIELD - The stakes were high and the energy electric as the Mansfield Sunday Night 6-a-side Football League plunged into its fifth week, and the teams from Division 1 and Division 2 didn't disappoint, delivering some of the most thrilling matches of the season.

In Division 1, the Vikings FC and Occasionally United match was a nail-biter, with Vikings FC eventually seizing victory in a close 5-4 win. The battle between FC Polonia Nottingham and VIRGIN VII, however, was a landslide, as VIRGIN VII demonstrated their dominance on the field with a stunning 12-2 triumph. The closing match of the division was no less exciting, as Kirkby Crabs put on a spectacular show of football prowess with an impressive 10-1 victory over Inter Ya Nan.

Over in Division 2, the matches were just as exhilarating. Bayer Neverlosen edged Straight Outta Sutton in a tightly contested 3-2 face-off, while Soucek My Pants ran away with a 9-5 victory over Originals FC. In the final match of the night, Mansfield United FC maintained their steady form with a 2-1 win against Borussia Teeth, demonstrating the depth of talent present in the division.

For the top scorers of each division, VIRGIN VII's striker led Division 1 with an impressive hat trick, while over in Division 2, Soucek My Pants' forward netted a remarkable four goals.
