MANSFIELD – The 15th week of the Mansfield Sunday 6-a-side Football League came to a thrilling close last night, with some teams asserting their dominance and some succumbing to defeat.

In Division 1, Eagles soared to a resounding victory against Beach Boys FC, finishing with a scoreline of 6-1. Their relentless pursuit of the ball was too much for the Beach Boys to handle; this win has solidified the Eagles' position in the league. Foggo Rovers managed to edge out Dingaling FC in a tightly contested match, scoring 3-2. Meanwhile, Occasionally United and Square Brown FC faced off in an exciting encounter, with the former coming out on top with a 5-3 win. The biggest win of the night, however, belonged to Corn On The Kobbie, who routed Lights And Whites FC 8-0 in a one-sided battle.

In Division 2, Inter Ya Nan managed to squeeze out a 5-4 victory against Law Abiding Sigurdsons in a match that kept spectators at the edge of their seats. Mansfield United FC displayed their superiority with an impressive 12-3 triumph over Barley Athletic, while Moleicester FC fell short against Puyol Pants Down, with a final score of 5-7. The Enormous Pears maintained their unbeaten run, comfortably defeating Multiple Scoregasms 3-0.

The highlight of the night was the stellar performance from Mansfield United FC, with their attacking line-up showing great prowess. Their top scorer, who netted five of their twelve goals, was instrumental in securing their victory.
