As the thrilling week 6 of the Dudley Monday 5-a-side Football League concluded, the Premier League division saw some remarkable performances and nail-biting finishes. Here is the last league news of 2023.

Donkey Pool FC took on The Old Tigers in a high-scoring clash which ended 8-4 in favor of the former. James Pountney, the top scorer from The Old Tigers, put on an impressive display by bagging a hat-trick, but it wasn't enough to secure victory for his side. His commendable performance, however, has cemented his position as the top scorer in the division. This game was certainly game of the evening as attacks came out on top to give us a 12 goal thriller.

In another close encounter, MET FC edged past Sewey FC in a 4-3 win. The competitive spirit and exhilarating gameplay kept the spectators on the edge of their seats till the last minute. This result earns MET FC the team of the week title as they claim their first win of the season.

Following them, Pacesetters FC managed to outperform Masterclass FC with a 3-1 victory, showcasing their dominance in the league and leaving a mark on the division.

The star for the week, however, was Matthew Woodall from Donkey Pool FC. His stellar performance throughout the league, and particularly in this week's clash, earned him the title of 'Most Valued Player.' Woodall's exceptional skills and crucial contributions have been pivotal in leading his team to their current standing.
