Dudley Monday 5 a side news 2025-09-29

Play in the Dudley Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling fifth week of the Dudley Monday 5 a side Football league, we witnessed intense competition and exemplary skills. The Premier League division, especially, saw several riveting matches, with players and teams demonstrating their true sporting spirit.

Unfortunately we did have an incident on the night involving Brier Ballers. There was an incident after the game where Brier Ballers decided they wanted to take matters into there own hands and start throwing punches at the opposing team . We do not tolerate this behaviour at the leagues we operate and they have been removed from the league indefinitely and fined for there actions on the night. We remind all teams to remain respectful to staff and opponents when playing at our leagues and any incident like this will always be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each and every time.

There was also an incident where by someone that was on site during our booking was verbally abusing a staff member of the Dormston Centre and damaging the site. This is totally unacceptable and if the person in question is identified that team they are associated with will be removed from the league with immediate effect. Its imperative we maintain our relationship with the brilliant staff that work at The Dormston Centre for our leagues to grow and the relationahip we have to be strong. If anyone knows anything about the incident in question then please let your Area Manager know when he calls to contact this week.

In more positive news, the evening became even more unpredictable when Woefulhampton Wanderers FC and Shed United FC settled for a draw. The intense stand-off kept spectators on the edge of their seats, proving the competitive level of the teams and the unpredictability of the sport.

Ragarse Rovers showcased a strong performance against Punjab FC, with a decisive victory. an end to end game with both goalkeepers getting tested to the very limit. this one had a bit of everything. a great spectacle for those watching

Underdawgs FC, however, had a challenging night, suffering a heavy loss, against the formidable CTS UTD.  Underdawgs put up a very good fight and showed moments of brilliance, however CTS have been impressive so far and they showed their quality on the night with another strong showing.

As we move further into the season, the competition is heating up. Teams are battling for supremacy, and individual players are striving for personal excellence. It's been a fantastic season so far, and we look forward to more exciting football in the coming weeks.
