In the heart of Dudley, a thrilling display of football skill and heart was showcased last night, marking the eighth week of the much-anticipated Dudley Monday 5-a-side Football League. The competition, filled with energy and raw talent, saw fierce contests within the Premier League division.

Unfortunately, we did have a couple of non-attendances on the night, These teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with all of them this week in order to confirm their returns for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

The night saw an electrifying match between Underdawgs FC and The Red Lion. The two teams locked horns in a goal-for-goal battle that ended in a nail-biting 7-7 draw. Both squads showed exceptional tenacity and teamwork, leaving fans and spectators on the edge of their seats from the opening whistle to the final kick of the game.

In another Premier League fixture, The Dudley Dons FC confidently outplayed Diddys Dream, leaving no doubt in their ability to control the match. The final scoreline read 7-2 in favor of The Dudley Dons FC, who exhibited a masterclass in offensive play and defensive solidity.

Finally, Keepers Fault FC squared off against Shed United FC. Keepers Fault FC emerged victorious with a 4-1 win, displaying a remarkable strategy and effective execution. The team’s superior ball control and swift counter-attacks left their opponents trailing, securing a well-deserved three points.

We also ran some games for our teams on the waiting list for the new division on the night which were as follows, Punjab x Dabba cruised to a big win over Keepers Fault FC. Red Lion lost to newcomers Gearings Girls FC, in a match that ended 5-4 to the latter. Shed United came out on top with a big win over Punjab x Dabba. While, Bowl FC beat new team Dudley Phoenix in a thriller of a game that ended 9-7 to Bowl FC.
