Title: Sedgley Monday Football League Week 12: A Night of Thrilling Football

The high-octane Sedgley Monday Football League reached its 12th week, stirring up a whirlwind of excitement on the pitch, as teams in the Premier League and Division 1 battled it out in a series of thrilling matches.

Unfortunately we did have an incident on the night between Goal diggers and John Stoned. There was an incident during the game that would have seen a player sent from the field of play for there actions. However before the referee was allowed to do this the two teams decided they wanted to take matters into there own hands and start throwing punches at one another. We do not tolerate this behaviour at leisure leagues and both teams have been removed from the league indefinitely and fined for there actions on the night. We remind all teams to remain respectful to staff and opponents when playing at our leagues and any incident like this will always be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each and every time.

In more positive news, Group A kicked off with a bang!  Diddys Dream faced off with a positive The Old Tigers side. Underdawgs FC fought hard and managed to carve out some dangerous chances of their own, but La Masala’s attacking edge and composure in key moments proved to be the difference in a competitive match.
