The drama and excitement of the Retford Tuesday 6-a-side football league continued last night as we entered week 6 of the season. Teams from Division 1 and Division 2 showcased their skills and determination in a thrilling night of football.
In Division 1, AFC Booca secured a dominant win over Athletico Clumber, with a final scoreline of 6-2. UTM FC also showcased their attacking prowess, defeating Diabetico Madrid 4-2. Polo Returns made their mark with a commanding 5-1 win over Farcelona. The most nail-biting game of the night was between Mucky Brookey and Goosemoor, with Mucky Brookey just edging the win at 4-3.
Division 2 was equally thrilling, and arguably, even more so. Backstreet Moyes demolished DEA Engineering in a 12-0 victory, showcasing their offensive strength. WYMO FC defeated Farndon Sops 6-5 in a closely fought contest. Netsix N Chill edged out The Babbi Brigade 2-1 in a keenly contested match, while Raggamuffins United fell to Norfolk N Chance 2-0.
The top scorers of the night were undoubtedly Backstreet Moyes from Division 2, who put a whopping 12 goals past DEA Engineering. In Division 1, AFC Booca led the way with 6 goals against Athletico Clumber.
