MONDAY 31ST JANUARY - HASTINGS ROUND-UP

The top 3 all lose their opening games of the season in the Hastings Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

AFC CLUB DE FUTBOL started the new season with a 2-0 win over WHY AYEW RUNNING with ASHTON BAILEY picking up the man of the match award for his goal and all round solid performance, The second game saw last season Division 1 winners BROADBANDIT win 1-0 in a closely contested game with last season Premier league third place team STICK IT UP YOUR DOJO.

Division 1 runners up from last season SNEAKYBLINDERS lost 2-0 to newcomers ONLY FOOLS & DONKEYS with goals from CHARLIE AND JORDAN, SAVILLE’S APPRENTICES upset defending champions HASTINGS MAFIA with a 2-1 win, CHE DAVIS getting on the score sheet and picking up the man of the match award for that game.

ORE VILLAGE were unlucky not to get something out of their game which ended 1-0 to PUYOL PANTS DOWN with JOSH scoring the only goal of the game. We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures in week 2 with Hastings and St Leonard’s premier providers of small sided football.
