WEEKLY NEWS FOR 02nd SEPTEMBER

Good morning all,

Cracking night of football up John of Gaunt school in Trowbridge to open our BRAND NEW MONDAY night league!

Al Bang Ya Nan 0 v 2 The Jamaican English Outlaws
Lindel Gilling and his new look Jamaican English Outlaws got off to a cracking start in the new league as they started strong going 2 - 0 up early with some great play from talisman Myles Woodward! Second half was a different story as Nathan Conradi came out on pitch to make a real difference in the middle for Al Bang Ya Nan who had the lions share of clear cut chances but couldn't find the back of the net! Great game of football to open the Monday Night League!

BackStreet Girls 7 v 0 Ballack Eyed Peas (LiveStreamed)
New boys BackStreet Girls set the early pace as they put in an impressive performance in their first game against an out of sorts Ballack Eyed Peas. Bradley Edwards banging five goals and looking a constant threat on the break, Ethan Green bagging the other two with Stuart Green standing strong between the sticks to hold on to his clean sheet in front of the camera!

Six Offenders 0 v 4 Tellisford United
Harry Ledbury sets his sights on the player of the season award as he brilliantly leads his team to a hard fought victory over Six Offenders! This really was an end to end game of football with both keepers making numerous saves, Kevin Fitzsimons in inspired form for Six Offenders as he pulled off numerous double saves to deny Tellisford! Both the teams look destined to be competing for the title come the end of the season!

Thank you to all the teams who help make our leagues such a success! Great to see so many people up and enjoying the beautiful game!

Lindel Gilling and his Jamaican English Outlaws were the latest team to take on our CrossBar Challenge to earn themselves money off their fixture! Unfortunately they all drew a blank, check it out on Facebook! Ballack Eyed Peas will be our next team from the Monday league to take on the challenge!

If you have any feedback on our leagues or can think of any way we can improve please let me know! We are always looking for new ideas and ways to improve the footballing experience for everyone.
