WEEKLY NEWS FOR 19th OCTOBER

Good morning all,

Another great night of football to start the week at John of Gaunt school in Trowbridge!

Backstreet Girls 5 - 1 Reus Crispies
We kicked off the evening with a great clash between the Backstreet Girls & Reus Crispies! The underdogs taking the lead early as Backstreet couldnt sort their defense out quick enough to handle the threat! Eventually Ethan Green took a hold of the game for Backstreet with a superb performance which saw him back a hat-trick! Shout out to Kristian Green who manage to miss a penalty for Backstreet after a superb save from Daniel Richards and in a seperate incident hit both posts!

Club Tropicana Drinks FC 2 - 0 Tugas FC
Aarron Seviour and his team look dead certain to take the crown this season! as another outstanding performance from the captain saw his side run out 2 - 0 winners against a stubborn Tugas defence who if were more clinical in front of goal could have easily taken something away from this!

Madrid 2019 3 - 2 Triple Trunk FC
Game of the evening goes to the incredbile clash between Madrid and Triple Trunk! Madrid were missing their star man but didnt let that effect them as some brilliant team play and hard pressing forced mistakes out of the Triple Trunk back line as centre back Josh Penelhum went wandering in search of a rare goal! Adam Meakin the stand out player in this one as he caused Triple Trunk all sorts of problems with his movement and passing!

Romasexuals 3 - 0 The Trowbridge Foxes FC
Romasexuals move up into second as an assured team performance saw them slot three past the Foxes! Jake Musto again awarded man of the match after causeing the Foxes defence all sorts of problems in and around the area! Captin Lindel Gilling putting in a shift for the Foxes up top but just couldnt get the ball to run for him to display his usual deadly finishing! Can they bounce back next week at Madrid 2019?

Points Match 5 - 0 Tellisford United
Thank you to all the lads that came up last night so we could play right through until 21:30! Great to see so many people wanting to enjoy the beautiful game! Some great football played all around. Shout out to Martin Morrison who despite his own best efforts to not score for as long as possible to keep the game running was able to bag the winner from the penalty spot at the second attempt!
