WEEKLY NEWS FOR 26th OCTOBER

Good morning all,

Another great night of football to start the week at John of Gaunt school in Trowbridge!

Tugas FC 2 - 2 Backstreet Girls
The first game of the evening saw a brilliant clash between Tugas & Backstreet which saw an end to end game of football! Ben Bullis opening the scoring for Backstreet with star man Kristian Green adding a well deserved second! Man of the match goes to Tugas's star striker Andre Filipe for bagging both goals! The equalizer coming from a freak deflection from way out wide!

Tellisford United 2 - 1 Romasexuals
Game of the night goes to the phenomenal tie between second and third as a new look Tellisford side try to chase down the leaders! Dan Ellison again the stand out performer for Romasexuals but it wouldn't be enough as a wonder strike from Joel Hillier sealed the win and the points for the defending champions!

The Trowbridge Foxes 1 - 4 Madrid 2019
The Foxes rang the changes as they were missing a couple of key players but it still wouldn't secure them the win they've been after as Hakan Blackmore put in a brilliant performance to drag his side to a well deserved 4 - 1 win! Foxes captain Lindel Gilling with a perfect opportunity to give his side the lead early on but he couldn't find the target!

Triple Trunk FC 1 - 5 Club Tropicana Drinks FC
Matt Morris was again the MVP as a devastating performance proved too much for the Triple Trunk defence and some clinical finishing saw the leaders run out a comfortable 5 - 1 winners! Can anyone catch them as the season runs into a close!

Reus Crispies 5 - 0 Points Match
Thank you to Josh Evans and his One Hit Wanderers from our Thursday league who came up at short notice to give Reus Crispies a competitive game to finish off the evening! Cameron Price the stand out player in this one as his speed and movement pulled the Wanderers defence all over the place while he bagged himself some brilliant goals! Kieran Morris showed some brilliant class up top for Wanderers but inevitably it wouldnt be enough as Crispies were able to hold on to 4 - 2 win!
