WEEKLY NEWS FOR 26th JULY

Good afternoon everyone,

Apologies for the late match reports, been super busy this morning working on some exciting changes coming your way for the new season!

As always it was another great night up John of Gaunt School in Trowbridge, some great football on display.

Premier League
The first game of the evening saw ABCDE FC play 6 Offenders in what is their penultimate game with Leisure Leagues Trowbridge until they leave for University! Great football was played by both sides, especially 6 Offenders keeper Kyle Oakley who put in a performance to remember even though side ended up losing 4 – 0. Trow United pulled off the shock of the night beating reigning champions Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps in an end to end game! Trow Utd’s more clinical edge saw them run out 2 – 0 winners. Beneteke Fried Chicken look like a force to be reckoned with next season as they beat White Horse 4 - 2 to take control of third spot going into the last game. George West was given Man of the match for the losing side. Game of the evening in the Premier League goes to the tie between Bring Back Lloyds FC and Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels, which was a game of two halves with Skrtel’s going into half time 2 – 0 up but saw Lloyds put on a convincing display in the second half to secure a 2 – 2 draw and show why both teams deserve to be in our Premier Division. Unfortunately Shunt Gunk Utd couldn’t make their fixture this week so thank you to everyone who stood in to provide a strong Fusion FC side with a good game of football.

Division 1
Dixie Normous FC were unable to raise a team for tonights game and forfeit a 5 – 0 win to Class on Grass, thank you to everyone who arrive early give them a competitive game. Fossil FC and Ivory Toast played out a superbly supported game which saw the away side bag a 3 – 0, the MVP was rightly awarded to Andrew Mulligan who made a string of brilliant saves for Fossil FC, great game of football to watch! The Freshford Rejects kept pressure on top spot with a  3 – 0 win over Scoring like Sonogo, Kian Marklew again winning man of the match taking his total to 4 for the season! A mid table clash saw Expected Toulouse & McDons FC play out a solid 1 – 1 draw, credit to both teams discipline and defence to hold the other at bay! The final game of the evening saw a strange game between Crips Outlawz FC and Tinchy Sneijder, with the away team being at their ruthless best. The final score ended up being a massive 25 – 0 with Sean Horobin claiming 11 of them for himself.
