WEEKLY NEWS FOR 12th October

It was another excellent night of football at the Trowbridge Thursday league as expected. Apologies to Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps for the late cancellation of their fixture but thank to both Bradley (Zuesaurus), Jack (Shark Monkeys) and their teams for agreeing to play points matches so everyone could enjoy a game.

There were some brilliant fixtures last night with most games being decided by a single goal!

Premier League
Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps look nearly uncatchable at the top of the table with another convincing win. Ballers climb out of the relegation places with a hard fought win while the other 2 games in the division were epic clashes which both resulted in 2-2 draws! Making the battle for relegation very tense!

Division 1
Another fantastic week of football in Division 1 with the top 4 only separated by 4 points! Top of the league Exeter Gently stretch their lead to 2 points with a 0-0 draw with Bancolana while Ivory Toast slipped up and dropped points in a 2-1 defeat to Bring Back Lloyds FC. Mc Dons kept pace with the top three with a narrow 1-0 over Wreckhead Rovers while Shark Monkeys and Zuesarus drew 2-2

Stavy FC will no longer be participating in the league and a team will be replacing them from Thursday 26th.
