WEEKLY NEWS FOR 2nd NOVEMBER
Good morning everyone and happy November!! Thank you all for another great night of football at the Trowbridge Thursday League! It was great to see everyone as always.
Premier League
Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps take another step closer to securing the title with a 2 - 1 win over Ballers FC. Can anyone catch them at this late stage in the season? Team apetito keep the pressure on them with a comprehensive 4 - 0 win over Wiltshire All Stars who's goalkeeper Steven White put in an outstanding performance to get Man of the Match. FC Fusion overcame ABCDE FC by a single goal to ease any relegation fears they may have had! Football Team Reserves kept pace at the top with a 5 - 2 win over Wiltshire Dragons.
Division 1
There is not much seperating any of the teams in this division with another night of highly competitive games! Bring Back Lloyds FC ran out narrow winners over Exeter Gently with a hotly contested 1-0 victory. Zuesarus lost out 2 - 0 in another great game to McDons FC with Owen Evans making the difference for the victors.Team performance of the night goes to Ivory Toast who convincingly beat Shark Monkeys 4-1. The final game of the night saw Wreckhead Rovers & Bancoloana play out a 1 - 1 draw. The Race for the title in Division 1 seems to get closer every week with any of 4 with a great chance of taking home the trophy!
Just a quick reminder to everyone that there are no Studed/Moulded boots allowed at the venue and any player wearing them will be asking to change before they are allowed to play.
