Louth Wednesday 6-a-side: Crazy Matches to seal the titles!

The Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league returned to action at the Pavillion again this week, and boy, did it deliver some incredible footballing action in the penultimate round of games. 

The Premier League saw the Louth Lads retain their title yet again, as they held off Only Put Matip In to win 4-3 and clinch the title with one game left. Beer put in a solid shift to beat For Evra Young 3-0 and leave the door open for a second-place finish. Brown Cow and One and Onlee will be relegated, but the two sides put on a show as the former managed to claim a 5-4 win after a stellar end-to-end match. 

In Division 1, Hardly Athletic put the finishing touch on a wonderful season, sealing the title thanks to a 3-2 win over 6 Guys 1 Cup. MLC's 6-3 victory over Ganstas Allardyce in a thrilling game has all but sealed second place for them, as Cesc Offenders ended proceedings with a demolition Merseysides Red, smashing them 15-2.
