Louth Wednesday 6-a-side: Season Comes to an End!

A fantastic season of the Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league finished this week at the Pavillion, as we crowned the champions in both divisions. Let's take a look at who sealed promotion and who got relegated, after our winners were decided last week. 

The Premier League saw champions Louth Lads cap off the season in style with a 13-2 rout of Gangstas Allardyce as they finished their season perfectly, with 10 wins out of 10. Only Put Matip In finished second, bursting into the top two with their brilliant 5-4 win over MLC. Cesc Offenders and Gangstas Allardyce will be dropping into Division 1 next season, after the former also lost their final match 2-4 to One and Onlee. 

Division 1 saw For Evra Young seal the title and promotion into the top flight, as Beer were shocked by a spirited Tekkerslovakia 1-4, but still held onto the second promotion spot.
