Sunday 10th July - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in Swadlincote 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled including new team Paralympiakos who played their first match with us, they had a tough start against league leaders Netsix and Chill but put in a decent first showing and will look to build on this going into the new season, 5-0 to the Champions the final score.

Deportivo De La Zouch were in fine form in front of goal this week and showed no mercy on West Hurts United who they thrashed by 12 goals to 1.

Boom Xhakalaka completed the league action as they were comfortable 3-0 winners over Xavi Dodgers.

We welcome new team Phoenix Utd to the league this coming Sunday and we wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 17th July!  They have a few players from the previous Gavatasaray Reserves team so will have a familiar feel.
