Sunday 10th March - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played across the division.

In the Premier League, Mother Munchers produced a workmanlike performance against Autismo Allstarz, pocketing a 2-0 win. The victory was significant for Mother Munchers, keeping them in a sturdy position within the league. On the other hand, Autismo Allstarz played with spirit, but couldn't find that finishing touch.

The most riveting match of the evening was between Paralympiakos and Isnt It FC. Paralympiakos showcased their dominance with a stunning 5-1 victory, proving they are not to be taken lightly this season. The star of the match was Jake, who put in a standout performance for Paralympiakos, scoring two goals and securing his place as the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

The clash between WM Village and Barely Athletic ended in a narrow 3-2 win for WM Village. Their determination and will to win was evident throughout the game as every player gave their best.

The final game of the evening saw The Underdogs face off against Murder On Zidanes Floor. The latter emerged victorious with a 4-1 win, ensuring they continue their strong performance this season. The Underdogs, despite their loss, showed promise and are sure to come back stronger in the next round.
