Sunday 12th March - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, barring Lawnmower FC who unfortunately read their kick off time wrong on the website, but return as normal on Sunday 19th March!

In the three league matches that took place, some entertaining and close games were on offer!

Champions Deportivo De La Zouch claimed a handsome 8-3 win over Athletico De Swad, but the scoreline suggests the game was more one sided than it was, Athletico missed some chances when the game was a lot closer but in the end Deportivo's clinical finishing was the difference.

Budweiser recovered from last weeks opening day defeat to run out 4-3 winners in a thrilling encounter against Paralympiakos, whilst the final game of the evening ended goalless as Underdogs and Swads Unfittest had to settle for a point apiece.
