Sunday 13th July - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in Game Week 2 of the campaign in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring a cancellation from Isn't It FC who return as normal next week.

However, the highlight of the week was arguably the performance of Ball Booze N Birds, who sailed to a 5-1 victory against League Of Nations. Leading the charge for them was Toby Peers, who found the back of the net three times, becoming the top scorer in the Premier League division. Peers' outstanding performance showcased his offensive talent and his crucial role in the team's success.

In another fixture, Acca For Spaca and Mother Munchers fought hard but couldn't break the deadlock, ending the game in a goalless draw. This intense match demonstrated the competitive nature of the league and the closely matched talent of the teams.

Finally, Paralympiakos managed to secure a 3-0 win against Underdogs 2, highlighting their strong defensive capabilities along with their lethal attacking form.
