Sunday 16th November - Swadlincote Round-Up

A fantastic evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week saw all teams in attendance throughout the night and some closely contested games played!

The league saw a fiercely competitive match between 6 Men 1 Cup and Hammerton Ultras, resulting in a narrow 1-0 victory for 6 Men 1 Cup. Despite the Ultras' formidable defense, their rivals managed to squeeze in the only goal of the match.

The night also witnessed an electrifying game where Kneel In The Bath Utd overcame Barely Athletic with a 3-2 win. Both teams demonstrated an impressive performance, but Kneel In The Bath Utd's slight edge in attack secured them the victory.

However, it was the pulsating clash between Ball Booze N Birds and League Of Nations that truly stole the spotlight. With a thrilling 4-2 victory, Ball Booze N Birds proved their dominance on the field, leaving League Of Nations to regroup and strategize for their next encounter.

Yet, the highlight of the night undoubtedly came from the face-off between Restore Wrong Uns and Paralympiakos. Paralympiakos delivered a stunning performance, crushing their opponents 11-1. The star player of the division, Jake, demonstrated his prowess by scoring a staggering total of four goals for Paralympiakos, leading the team to an emphatic victory.
