Sunday 19th February - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across the division.

Deportivo De La Zouch continue to steam ahead despite the title being in the bag already, they cruised past Boom Xhakalaka by 6 goals to 1.  Budweiser FC's form hasn't dipped despite being out of the title race as they look to match last season's 22 point return, they were rampant 8-1 winners against Paralympiakos.

The other two games of the evening were a lot more hotly contested as both were separated by just one goal.  Fourth placed Lawnmower FC were 2-1 winners over Corona Rovers, claiming their third win in four as they look like potential contenders next season, whilst Swads Unfittest won a five goal thriller against The Underdogs by 3 goals to 2.
