Sunday 1st February - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

The night began with Hangover FC clashing with 6 Men 1 Cup. The latter team played a ruthless game, leaving no stone unturned as they shut out Hangover FC with a 5-0 victory. Displaying superb teamwork and compelling offensive strategies, 6 Men 1 Cup emerged as the clear winners in this match-up.

Next, Hammerton Ultras faced off against Paralympiakos in what turned out to be an evenly matched contest. Both teams gave everything on the pitch, leading to an intense battle that ended in a 3-3 draw. The spectators were left on the edge of their seats as the teams traded goals, neither one giving an inch to the other.

The final match of the evening saw HUSSARS FC taking on League Of Nations. Despite a brave performance from HUSSARS FC, League Of Nations dominated the game to secure a 6-1 win. The star of the match, and indeed the entire division for the week, was Wulf from League Of Nations, who netted an impressive hat-trick.
