Sunday 20th March - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was another superb evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some excellent games played across the division.

It was seventh heaven for Netsix & Chill who's 100% record extended to 7 games this week, as they stay at the summit of the table following a 4-2 win over Swad Rams.  Boom Xhakalaka stay just two points off the leaders this week as they romped to an 8-0 win over Fatzio in an impressive performance.  Budweiser FC received a 5-0 win this week and moved into third place, with Swad Rams dropping to fifth after their defeat.  Sandwiched between the two in fourth spot is Xavi Dodgers who were 5-3 victors over Inter Gresley FC.  

Show Me Da Mane were in clinical form in front of goal this week, as they thrashed new boys 5 and Drive FC by a 7-1 score line as the new team get used to life in the league.  Another new team, Deportivo De La Zouch look equally as impressive as Mane, as they hammered Pique Blinders 8-1, starting on the front foot.
