Sunday 23rd February - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football once again in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled.

In the Premier League, the marquee division of the league, Mother Munchers and 6 Men 1 Cup couldn't be separated on the pitch, ending in a hard-fought 1-1 draw. Inter Ya Nan and Paralympiakos also shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw, a result that reflected their evenly matched performances.

However, there was no doubting the team of the night. Isnt it FC administered a ruthless demolition of The Lamb Inn FC with a remarkable 5-1 victory. The match saw a standout performance from Hayden of Isnt It FC, who found the back of the net an incredible five times, ensuring his name would feature as the top scorer in the Premier League division this week.

In the remaining fixture of the night, WM Village clinched a convincing 3-0 win over Charv, demonstrating a striking synergy on the pitch that their opponents found impossible to break down.
