Sunday 24th April - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across the division.

Top of the table Netsix and Chill suffered a big shock as new boys MFS FC came into the league and thrashed them 8-0 to end their perfect record.  Second placed Boom Xhakalaka moved to within a point of the leaders as they thrashed 5 and Drive by 9 goals to 1. 

Third placed Swad Rams lost ground on the leaders as Budweiser FC moved to within 2 points and a place of this weeks opponents who they thrashed 5-1.  

Gavatasaray Reserves leapfrogged this weeks opponents Show Me Da Mane in the mid-table clash this week, as Gav were 3-1 winners, whilst Deportivo De La Zouch won a ten goal thriller by a 6-4 margin as they came out on top of an end to end encounter against Xavi Dodgers.
