Sunday 24th August - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in Swadlincote on Sunday, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, a great turnout for Bank Holiday weekend.

6 Men 1 Cup delivered a towering performance against Acca For Spaca, securing a 12-0 victory. The commanding win highlighted their offensive prowess, and the team's top scorer further etched his name into the division's record books with a remarkable number of goals.

However, the football evening also had close encounters. Paralympiakos edged Charv 3-2 in a tightly contested match. It was a game of sheer grit and determination, with Paralympiakos' top scorer making a notable contribution to the victory.

In another enthralling match, Mother Munchers overcame BOOMERANGS RETURNS with a 3-1 scoreline. The game was a demonstration of Mother Munchers' resilience and tactical acumen, with their top scorer leading the charge.

The last game of the evening, between League Of Nations and Kneel In The Bath Utd, ended in a 2-2 tie. Both teams showcased their skills and endurance, and their top scorers added to the season's goal tally.
